My client is a highly regarded and quality focused law firm which has a notable strength of expertise in acting for non-profit, charity, institutional and education sector organisations, social enterprises and care providers, as well as a substantial HNW private client base. It is an enigma of a brand, fiercely not claiming to define itself as a 'commercial firm' but yet with expertise and national profile in certain sectors to rival many firms in London and the Top 100.

They're looking for an experienced Employment solicitor, most likely at Associate or Managing Associate level who will have a good level of technical competency (contentious and non-contentious work) in acting for employers, aligned with a sensitive and discrete approach to advising clients who frequently have a public profile. Previous experience in acting for charity or voluntary sector clients will be a significant advantage and of reassurance to this firm who will be introducing you to their long established client base.

The firm also values character, and a number of their partners have had earlier careers outside the law, or interesting detours through their working life. Life experience is a valuable thing and an interesting back story will always be popular at this firm, often viewed as a useful point of difference and interest as opposed to a weakness.
