My client is a well liked Leeds mid-tier brand with a solid offering to commercial clients including a sizeable Employment team acting predominantly for respondents. This department is busy hence they're hoping to hire a relatively junior Solicitor, perhaps 2-3yrsPQE or thereabouts, who will be able to make an impact on arrival by picking up work at their level. (If you're less PQE than that but have had good exposure then do please apply.)
The role is to work directly with a partner who focuses on contentious work, so it'll be a busy mixed caseload of employment litigation including cases going to tribunal. You'll get plenty of client contact and good exposure. The firm has a decent approach to hybrid working, and their targets are particularly reasonable as they want people to enjoy work. They want to foster a positive culture at work, and to get the balance right between working hard and having life outside of work, yet still the firm is able to grow year on year.
A great opportunity for someone who wants a very credible commercial firm which does not necessarily take itself quite as seriously as some of its competitors!
