Our client is a well regarded mid-tier firm with an award winning Commercial Litigation team, handling a breadth of contentious work including a good element of matters referred by upstream larger firms - the quality is good and the partners largely have large brand backgrounds.
They're looking for someone NQ to 3yrsPQE (including 2024 qualifiers) for a mixed caseload of commercial disputes including professional negligence, shareholder and boardroom disputes, contract disputes, and possibly assisting with contentious property work, so a good mix for a fairly junior candidate.
Suitable applicants will have some demonstrable experience of litigation for commercial clients (minimum one seat as a Trainee) and be keen to progress in this area. Good academics and a commercial brand background will always be welcome, but attitude is also important so they'll take an holistic view of an applicant.
This is a firm where personality counts, there is a lot of client contact and so you'll have to be someone who wants to get fully involved and to contribute to networking and business development as part of the department's efforts.
