Commercial Disputes role with the largest single site firm in Huddersfield.

My client is a single site Huddersfield firm with a full service offering to business clients which includes Corporate, Commercial, Employment, Property, and Commercial Litigation.

Commercial Litigation is led by 2 Partners, and handles a mix of matters including contract disputes, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, and contentious property work for the firms real estate clients. It's a mixed bag for a broad range of clients, and versatility is important in this team.

They're looking for someone with a base of Litigation experience already, so that you'll be able to run cases with some support, but with full client contact. 3yrsPQE and upwards really will be needed as the firm doesn't have the capacity to closely supervise and direct someone who isn't up to speed with the CPR, and confident of their of soft skills when it comes to dealing with clients. Someone with significantly higher levels of experience will be considered on merit as you'd have the advantage of adding further firepower towards the top of the department.

This is a well run firm, confident of it's abilities without being arrogant. They like normal people with a collegiate mindset and who are committed to a high standard of client care. Hybrid will be three or four days per week in the office (HD1) and the remainder remote working, really according to your level of confidence and competence. Contact me to discuss in more detail.

Brooke Thornham Consulting advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible but if we have not contacted you within 5 days then unfortunately on this occasion your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
