CORPORATE NQ-5 LEEDS

Our client is an international law firm with a very diverse spread of services on offer to plc's, regional businesses, institutional clients and insurers, but with the platform and management to continue its growth in the UK and overseas. The Corporate team in the Leeds office is enjoying a very busy market and consequently is looking to hire an additional corporate lawyer.

The team has a good structure, with plenty of supervisory support from Partners and Legal Directors so you'll be working closely with others to develop your skills and your confidence. Uniquely this team has some senior lawyers focusing primarily on the professional development of others, imparting their phenomenal expertise and best practise throughout the team to drive excellence. For a junior lawyer this is a golden opportunity to be prioritised by people who can really help you as they don't have their own client facing responsibilities.

Ideal candidates will have a base of 2 years Corporate experience to date, but 2022 NQs and strong 2023 NQs will be considered on merit as this team plans ahead. They're not brand precious, so candidates from regional and niche firms will be looked at favourably providing you've got some drive and ambition and a real commitment to being a corporate lawyer. This might be a Top 50 firm but it does still value some work-life balance so you'll expect reasonable targets and remuneration to reflect that.
