Our client is a highly profitable regional firm with a full service offering to large businesses including household name brands. Construction is an established part of their corporate services offering and they're keen to hire an additional senior construction lawyer to join the team based in Leeds.
A suitable candidate will be able to operate without close supervision day to day, and be comfortable taking on client relationships across a broad mix of corporate clients, developers and contractors. There's plenty of exposure for someone who wants it, and the chance to expand your own network and win your own clients as well as acting for existing contacts of the firm.
The focus of the work will be contentious but if a candidate handles a mix then the firm will look to accommodate that - they are flexible to find the right candidate.
An unusual opportunity for a construction expert to bed into a thriving brand which has significant capability, a stellar client list, and scope for progression to partner in the medium term. Existing Partners with a following would be considered on merit as a lateral hire, but the firm does have work to do already.
