Associate level Solicitor to join one of the UK's leading teams in residential development and housebuilder work, which is on the vast majority of national house builder panels, and also acts for regional and niche developers, and institutional landowners. This brand has got a great market position and this is very much a core element of the firm. It's a Top 100 practice with the resources, support, coverage and aligned disciplines that allows this brand to offer a truly holistic service to the housebuilder sector.

You'll be committed to being a specialist in residential development and ideally will have handled some of this type of work to date, though the firm can support a more general commercial property lawyer to transition across into residential development if that's where the candidate's career focus lies.

The work typically focuses on strategic options and funding, large scale land acquisitions, collaboration agreements between developers, and urban regeneration. You won't be doing plots work as that is handled by a substantial separate team, so as a Solicitor your focus will be the more complex matters.

This department has a good track record of promoting from within, so if you're looking for a firm where effort will be noticed and rewarded then this could well be the place for you. Leeds based with a typical hybrid split of 2 days/week remote working.

Brooke Thornham Consulting advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible but if we have not contacted you within 5 days then unfortunately on this occasion your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
