Interesting opportunity for an NQ to 2yrPQE lawyer, which includes 2024 qualifiers. You'll be joining a well regarded regional firm which has a number of partners handling mixed work in regulatory and environmental matters, which includes aspects of corporate crime, licensing, planning and environmental, and health and safety. Each partner has their own leaning, but it's a fun dynamic between them and anyone joining would expect to work closely with and learn from these experienced practitioners.

Prior SHE experience would work very well, but not many candidates will have it. Criminal Defence could transpose into this role, certainly if you'd acted for some private clients or handled some work for businesses, directors, or perhaps for an insurer. Good client skills are essential as you'll be supporting clients in difficult circumstances, so being an assured communicator is important. (There won't be any call out work with this firm given the commercial client base, so if you've been attending clients at unsociable hours you'll get your life back!)
