First Corporate Partner role in the region, Leeds based, as this established independent commercial firm expends its services from it's Leeds office.

Whilst the firm has four Corporate Partners elsewhere in its network the Leeds office is heavily Real Estate driven, it is an established site, it is profitable, and they're wholly committed to expanding their service base in the Leeds market. Corporate it very much central to their plans, and this is a priority hire for the firm.

You'll be supported, but have free rein to work your network and the contacts of the firm, and to generate your own work in the Yorkshire region. It's a role where business development will be a key focus, but for the right individual that should represent an exciting challenge to forge your own way. Some sort of following or demonstrable aptitude to generate work is essential, though the expected value of that won't be prohibitively high.

A frustrated Legal Director at a big firm might fit as you'd be very much appreciated here as a Partner. A Partner in a decent brand who perhaps wants more autonomy, or to be in a non-political environment might also find his an interesting proposition as this is a great bunch of people to work with. Or a general practice company commercial partner who'd want a step to a firm with a better profile for commercial client work could be a good fit.

The reasons to look at this role are many, but it is unusual to have this much autonomy yet it not be a cold start up! Don't hesitate to make contact for a confidential discussion.

Brooke Thornham Consulting advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience.
