This established commercial law firm is experiencing high demand for its commercial property team as a consequence of successful marketing efforts in recent years and an uplift in market activity. Whilst they retained an NQ in Autumn 2025 and have hired from externally they now find themselves needing another qualified Solicitor to ensure the team is appropriately structured for the amount of work they've got.
Suitable applicants will be upwards of Newly Qualified (must have at least 6 months experience in Commercial Property) and potentially up to c5yrsPQE as the firm don't want to be overly prescriptive. The team handles a varied mix of property management, acquisitions and disposals, corporate support, and acts for a wide range of investors, developers and owners. You can expect an interesting mix of work that to some extent can be biased towards your own skills and preferences.
You'll join a mid-tier firm where you'll balance good work and client exposure against reasonable targets and the ability to have a life outside of work so this should suit someone stepping up from a general practice, or perhaps a national firm candidate hoping to re-calibrate their work-life balance. Leeds or Bradford based as they've real estate lawyers in each.
Brooke Thornham Consulting advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible but if we have not contacted you within 5 days then unfortunately on this occasion your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
